Jennell is an associate attorney at Peters Revnew Kappenman & Anderson. Jennell has experience litigating class action, collective action, and single-plaintiff employment matters in jurisdictions across the United States. Jennell’s past experience involves actions for alleged unpaid overtime, misclassification, and retaliation under the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as actions for alleged unpaid wages under state wage and hour statutes.
Jennell graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2016 with a concentration in civil litigation. While at the University of Minnesota Law School Jennell served as a staff member of Vol. 99 of the Minnesota Law Review, managing editor of Vol. 100 of the Minnesota Law Review, president of the Litigation and Trial Advocacy Group, competing member and co-regional champion of the Intercollegiate Mock Trial Team, research assistant for Prof. Mark Kappelhoff, and volunteer for the Minnesota Justice Foundation. Jennell gained significant experience with civil and criminal matters as an intern clerk for Hon. Marilyn B. Rosenbaum and Hon. Thomas S. Fraser, a student certified attorney at the Minneapolis City Attorney’s office, and a law clerk for a local law firm.
When she is not in the office Jennell enjoys boating on Minnesota’s many lakes during the summer and skiing/snowboarding during the colder months.
